L'hydraulique est la branche de la science qui traite des propriétés mécaniques des fluides et la mécanique des fluides est la base de l'hydraulique. EDIBON tente de répondre, de manière simple et pratique, à la demande académique d'enseignement et d'apprentissage des bases de la Mécanique des Fluides. À cette fin, il dispose d'un système flexible et modulaire pour l'apprentissage de la mécanique des fluides de base.

Avec la série de modules proposés, les élèves réalisent des expériences qui leur montrent clairement les lois de l'hydraulique. Grâce à ces expériences, les étudiants acquièrent une expérience de l'utilisation des instruments et outils hydrauliques de manière naturelle, agréable et simple.

Les équipements du laboratoire de mécanique des fluides permettent aux étudiants de réaliser des caractérisations des fluides, des mesures et du contrôle de l'écoulement des fluides, d'étudier les principaux phénomènes et principes qui régissent la mécanique des fluides, et de connaître les représentations des équipements largement utilisés dans l'industrie.
