Les fondamentaux de l'électronique sont l'ensemble des connaissances visant à fournir à l'étudiant une base solide pour analyser et comprendre le fonctionnement général des circuits électroniques les plus courants, et la fonction individuelle des composants électroniques qui les composent.

L'acquisition d'une bonne base théorique dans une discipline aussi spécialisée que l'électronique est une étape nécessaire pour la conception et le développement ultérieurs de systèmes électroniques complexes. Parce que électronique est également une branche de ingénierie, une grande partie des concepts théoriques ont une application pratique directe, ce qui facilite grandement la compréhension des concepts par l'étudiant électronique si les cours théoriques sont enseignés avec un exemple pratique associé.

Le électroniquefondements couvrent une grande variété de sujets, parmi lesquels l'analyse des circuits électroniques (à l'aide d'équations et de procédures telles que la loi d'Ohm, Lois du circuit de Kirchhoff, Théorème de Thévenin, le théorème de superposition, la transformation du circuit analysé en un circuit équivalent plus simple, etc. ), l'étude des composants de base (résistances, inducteurs, capacités, transistors de différentes technologies, diodes, thyristors, portails logiques, etc.) et un ensemble de circuits regroupés par fonctionnalité (alimentation en tension et alimentation en courant, filtres passe-bas et passe-haut, circuits d'amplification, circuits résistifs, différents circuits de polarisation transistors, introduction aux circuits numériques, circuits logiques, etc.).
