SJBA Unit to Study a Shaft with Journal Bearings Assembly

UNIT TO STUDY A SHAFT WITH JOURNAL BEARINGS ASSEMBLY - SJBA

INNOVATIVE SYSTEMS

The Unit to Study a Shaft with Journal Bearings Assembly, "SJBA", enables the study of practical assembly and disassembly, maintenance and repair tasks of a simple slide bearing, so that the student will know perfectly both the unit operation and all of its components.

See general description

General Description

The Unit to Study a Shaft with Journal Bearings Assembly, "SJBA", unit consists of two shaft bearings at the ends and a ground steel shaft. The slide bearing consists of two parts, the bearing itself, which is the part of the assembly that is in contact with the shaft, and the support that surrounds it.

The study of bearings is intimately linked to the study of the lubricant film that is placed between the moving parts. An easy construction of the bearings is possible thanks to the lubrication. This lubrication can be provided, for example, by a grease that is supplied to the bearing through the Stauffer bushing that is screwed into a lubrication channel.

The Unit to Study a Shaft with Journal Bearings Assembly, "SJBA", unit is a mechanism with two bearings and a dismountable ground steel shaft, with which dimensional and exploded drawings are enclosed for identification of its parts. In addition, the necessary tools and a series of instructions for the correct assembly and disassembly of the unit are supplied.

A case is provided to facilitate transportation and to ensure the protection of components needed.
