General Description

The Unit to Study a Liquid Separator Cutaway Model, "LSCM", allows the students to visualize the inner parts of a liquid separator, to evaluate the relation with each other accurately and to understand their function.

The cutaway model of a liquid separator consists of a real model used in the refrigeration industry.

The unit ensures an optimal separation between the vapor phase and the liquid phase of the refrigerant gas. The load losses are low and approximately they are lower than 0.4 °C.

The heat exchanger allows to increase the cooling effect of the refrigerant gas, by subcooling the liquid at high pressure, thus avoiding the risks of the presence of gas.

The unit is attached to a base plate with handles for easy transpo rt.
