The Unit to Study a Helical Oil Separator Cutaway Model, "HOSCM", allows the students to visualize the inner parts of a liquid separator, to evaluate the relation with each other accurately and to understand their function.

It is a real model used in the refrigeration industry. Centrifugal flow separates the oil thanks to the shock and centrifugal force of the mixture when entering the separator. The separated oil goes to the bottom (tank) until it reaches a sufficient level that maintains the level of the float, responsible for actuating the valve that returns the oil to the circuit.

It allows very high oil separation efficiencies, with low pressure drop.

The cutaway model of a liquid separator is composed of real industrial elements designed in such a way that its inner parts can be observed by the user, maintaining its mechanical and functional capacity.

The unit is attached to a base plate with handles for easy transport.
