General Description

The Extended Surface Heat Transfer Unit for TSTCC, "TXC/SE," allows the study of temperature profiles and heat transfer characteristics on an extended surface. It investigates the effects of adding fins to a body to increase its surface area and achieve a change in the cooling rate. Fins of different materials and cross-sectional shapes are used to analyze the effects on cooling.
