The Refrigeration or Heating Water Recirculation Advanced Unit, "TERA/A", is a reversible heat pump, which allows heating and cooling a volume of water for the study of heat transfer and temperature regulation of a fluid. Using a constant flow of water (cold or hot) it is possible to modify, by indirect contact between flows, the temperature conditions of a second circulating flow or of a certain static volume contained in a given vessel.

General Description

The Refrigeration or Heating Water Recirculation Advanced Unit, "TERA/A", is a reversible heat pump, which allows heating and cooling a volume of water for the study of heat transfer and temperature regulation of a fluid. Using a constant flow of water (cold or hot) it is possible to modify, by indirect contact between flows, the temperature conditions of a second circulating flow or of a certain static volume contained in a given vessel.

It is a recirculation heat pump designed to provide a continuous supply of chilled or heated water at the temperature required by the user. In its upper part there is a water storage tank. In the lower part there is a centrifugal pump for water circulation and the reversible heat pump.

The water falls by gravity from the storage tank to the pump. The pump drives the water to the cooler and once cooled the water to the tank (recirculation circuit used until the set point temperature is reached) or to the external circuit to be cooled, allowing the flow control through the various globe valves, returning to the storage tank once it runs the circuit. It is prepared with quick connectors to adapt to multiple unit of the EDIBON range, exchangers, reactors, etc., quickly and easily.
