機械工学とは、物理学を身の回りの要素に応用して、既存の機械装置を改良したり、新しいものを作ったりすることです。
もっと見るそれは物理的な原理に基づいているので、その起源はその原理の起源にまでさかのぼり、その発展は力学の進歩と密接に結びついています。しかし、産業発展の柱の一つとなったのは、蒸気機関の発明以降である。
この装置が作られた結果、17世紀の産業革命が起こりました。その瞬間から、ワット、ステファンソン、テスラ、ランキンのような科学者や技術者の貢献により、コンセプトと新しい機械の開発の両面で、前例のない刷新が始まりました。
これらの機械の発展に伴い、従来の産業の概念が変化していきました。大量生産が導入され、機械設計が改善され、その結果、生産工程の幅が広がり、社会のニーズに合わせて、これまで考えられなかったような多種多様な新製品が生まれました。
機械工学の中では、特に以下の分野の研究と応用に注目すべきである。
- メカニズム。
- 構造物。
- ダイナミクス。
- バイブレーション。
- 振動です。
今日、食品から航空宇宙に至るまで、あらゆる産業が技術革新の最高レベルにあることが求められています。そのため、常に最新の技術を備え、インダストリー4.0で求められるレベルになるためには、新しいデバイスの研究開発が特に重要になります。
