The PID Control and Regulation of an Inverted Pendulum Unit, "RYC-PI", de­signed by EDIBON, enables the practical study of automatic control systems through the control of the linear position of a moving cart and the stabilization of a pendulum in the upright position.

This unit allows students and technicians to understand and apply PID control theory in a real-world setting. It consists of a base with sensors and actuators, such as a DC motor and an angle sensor, along with an interface box that includes the power supply, signal conditioning, and the necessary connections to the control system.

It is used in conjunction with the base unit "RYC" to keep the pendulum upright by means of precise control of the cart’s movement.
