12.3.- 饮用水处理

饮水,即适合人类饮用的水,是任何文明的根本。此外,由于人口增长和工业发展,饮用水的需求量也在增加。

饮用水是经过一系列物理、化学和生物处理后获得的。这种对饮用水的需求催生了饮用水处理厂或站(DWTP)。污水处理厂的主要阶段或过程是:

  1. 系统进水的接收和均化。
  2. 粗过滤,消除可能对安装造成损害的粗颗粒。
  3. 加入氧化剂和凝固剂的反应过程。此阶段可消除气味、味道、病原体和无机物(矿物质)或有机物(酸、亚硝酸盐等)。根据污染物的不同,采用曝气、高锰酸钾、氯气或其他技术。
  4. 滗水,消除水中仍含有的较小固体。通常使用絮凝剂。
  5. 过滤,倾倒后结束澄清过程。
  6. 调理。对pH值进行调整,有时还要进行加氟和消毒,以消除病原体。同时,也保证了铁和锰的消除。这一步非常关键,因为在处理后必须对水进行分析,并验证其是否符合法律规定的供应要求。
  7. 储存和供应经过处理的水或饮用水;

如今,法律不断通过,对水的锅化质量提出了更高的要求,所以必须不断学习和研究水处理的工艺和技术。
