12.3.- TRINKWASSERAUFBEREITUNG

Trinkwasser, d.h. Wasser, das für den menschlichen Verzehr geeignet ist, ist für jede Zivilisation grundlegend. Außerdem steigt der Bedarf an Trinkwasser aufgrund des Bevölkerungswachstums und der industriellen Entwicklung.

Trinkwasser wird gewonnen, nachdem es einer Reihe von physikalischen, chemischen und biologischen Behandlungen unterzogen wurde. Aus diesem Bedarf an Trinkwasser ergibt sich die Trinkwasseraufbereitungsanlage oder -station (DWTP).

Die wichtigsten Stufen oder Prozesse, die in der DWTP durchgeführt werden, sind:

    1. Den Empfang und die Homogenisierung des einströmenden Wassers in das System.
    2. Grobfilterung, Beseitigung von groben Partikeln, die Schäden an der Anlage verursachen könnten.
    3. Reaktionsprozesse unter Zugabe von Oxidations- und Koagulationsmitteln. In dieser Stufe werden Gerüche, Geschmäcker, Krankheitserreger und anorganische Stoffe (Mineralien) oder organische Stoffe (Säuren, Nitrite usw.) entfernt. Je nach Schadstoffen werden Belüftung, Kaliumpermanganat, Chlor oder andere Techniken eingesetzt.
    4. Dekantieren, beseitigt kleinere Feststoffe, die noch im Wasser enthalten sind. In der Regel werden Flockungsmittel verwendet.
    5. Filtration, beendet den Klärungsprozess nach dem Dekantieren.
    6. Konditionierung. Es erfolgt eine Einstellung des pH-Wertes, manchmal eine Fluoridierung und eine Desinfektion zur Beseitigung von Krankheitserregern. Auch die Eliminierung von Eisen und Mangan ist gewährleistet. Dieser Schritt ist kritisch, da das Wasser nach den Behandlungen analysiert und überprüft werden muss, ob es den gesetzlichen Anforderungen für die Versorgung entspricht.
    7. Speicherung und Bereitstellung von aufbereitetem Wasser oder Trinkwasser.

Heutzutage werden ständig Gesetze erlassen, die eine höhere Qualität bei der Trinkwasseraufbereitung fordern. Daher ist es notwendig, die Prozesse und Technologien zur Wasseraufbereitung kontinuierlich zu untersuchen und zu erforschen.
