ALLGEMEINE BESCHREIBUNG

The Parallel and Series Transmission Lines Application, "AEL-TI-05", has been designed to study the parallel and series interconnection of transmission lines. The users will study the relation between these configurations and the implications of them, comparing the energy losses in parallel and series lines connection.

This application includes an aerial transmission line module which consists of configurable resistances, inductances and capacitances. This module allows to configure the electrical parameters of the transmission line such as line resistances and inductances, as well as capacitive effect between line to line and line to ground.

In addition, this application includes a network analyzer module which allows the user analyzing and monitoring, in real time, the most important electrical parameters of the transmission lines such as power factor, harmonics, drop voltages, energy losses, etc.

In addition, this application has been designed to be combined with the rest of AEL-TI- and AEL-SST- applications in order to form a system in which the user can study concepts about generation, transmission, distribution and power consumption.

This application can work remotely through SCADA software AEL-TI-07/CCSOF included in the application of Transmission Application with Synchronous Generator, "AEL-TI-07".
