Implementation of SCADA-NET in Universidad Andina del Cusco (UAC), Peru
The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (UAC), through the Professional School of Industrial Engineering, managed to acquire the SCADA-NET system, a network process control module of the Spanish company EDIBON, which has 20 computers designed to strengthen the practical skills of students.
In 2013, Universidad Andina del Cusco, in its effort to innovate education in practical matters, acquired the first module of control of process variables, for the exclusive use of the teacher and since that time worked on the expansion of the network and the implementation of environments for the opening of what from today will be a laboratory for the control of network processes, which can be used by all students of the professional schools of the faculty.
Since the implementation of this new SCADA-NET system, teachers will receive a 3 session training aimed at strengthening the good management of this network, thus allowing the process virtualization in a bidirectional way.
