9.- TERMODINAMIK DAN TERMOTEKNIK

Termodinamika adalah cabang fisika yang bertanggung jawab untuk mempelajari interaksi antara panas , kerja , dan manifestasi lain dari energi dalam sistem dalam kesetimbangan . Prinsip termodinamika menjelaskan perilaku global sistem makroskopis dalam keadaan kesetimbangan.

Termodinamika tidak berhubungan dengan proses perpindahan panas, ia hanya mempelajari keadaan awal dan akhir. Proses ini termasuk dalam lingkup termoteknik, yang berfokus pada proses konduksi, konveksi dan radiasi yang menentukan fluks panas dan energi nyata.

Hukum dasar yang menjelaskan fenomena termodinamika telah dipelajari sepanjang sejarah dari studi tentang hubungan tekanan, volume dan suhu dalam sistem yang berbeda:

  • Sistem terbuka: panas dan massa dipertukarkan dengan bagian luar (menara pendingin).
  • Sistem tertutup: hanya panas yang dipertukarkan dengan bagian luar (wadah dengan plunger bergerak).
  • Sistem terisolasi: baik panas maupun massa tidak saling bertukar (termos ideal).

Termodinamika dan termoteknik memiliki banyak kegunaan, mulai dari pembangkit listrik di pembangkit listrik termal hingga sistem pendingin, mencakup juga teknik bangunan.

Aplikasi praktis utama dalam peralatan adalah mesin termal yang memanfaatkan transformasi dan pertukaran energi dan panas: mesin, turbin , A.C., pemanas , boiler, saluran pembuangan, menara pendingin
