Final User Smart Grid - Smart Energy Application, "AEL-FUSG-E", designed by EDIBON, is an application that reflects the behavior of real Home Energy Management Systems.

The purpose of the "AEL-FUSG-E" application is to help the user understand how smart devices operate in an intelligent home or industrial environment, controlling the most important loads.

Through the "AEL-FUSG-E" application, the user will be able to manage monitoring, consumption scheduling, and load profile visualization through smart devices. An excellent feature is that all smart devices use the ZigBee communication protocol (wireless communication).

EXERCÍCIOS E PRÁTICAS GUIADAS

EXERCÍCIOS PRÁTICOS GUIADOS INCLUÍDOS NO MANUAL

  1. Study of energy efficiency improvement using capacitor banks to compensate reactive power of loads.
  2. Real-time monitoring of local consumption with inductive, resistive, and capacitive loads.
  3. Simulation of different consumption patterns and programming of Home Energy Management System devices by the end user.
  4. Study of optimal load demand and programming of smart devices according to different scheduling schemes.
  5. Control and program the maximum accumulated energy consumption of the loads.
  6. Program the panel inputs and outputs.
  7. Lighting control.
  8. Temperature control system.
  9. Schedule the activation time of the washing machine.
  10. Remote programming of smart devices (smart relays, thermostat, various sensors, etc.).
  11. Development of switching schemes for devices connected to smart relays or thermostat via the management platform.

Practical Exercises for AEL-FUSG-E Application with AEL-FUSG-M Application:

  1. Measurement of energy consumption in a home or by an industrial consumer and comparison with the utility’s smart meter record.
  2. Simulation of different consumption periods and programming of Home Energy Management System devices.
  3. Telemetry of energy consumed by loads using the data concentrator platform.
