The Computer Controlled Experimental Impulse Turbine, "HTIC", allows to study the characteristics and the behavior of an impulse turbine.

This unit includes all the necessary instrumentation and sensors for controlling and measuring the most representative parameters, in different points of the unit, as: air pressure, air flow, air temperatures as well as the turbine speed and torque.

The working characteristics of this turbine and the hydraulic and mechanical curves can be determined, and the hydraulic and mechanical power obtained.

This Computer Controlled Unit is supplied with the EDIBON Computer Control System (SCADA), and includes: The unit itself + a Control Interface Box + a Data Acquisition Board + Computer Control, Data Acquisition and Data Management Software Packages, for controlling the process and all parameters involved in the process.
