Hidraulika adalah cabang ilmu yang mempelajari sifat mekanik fluida, dan Mekanika Fluida adalah dasar dari hidraulika. EDIBON bertujuan untuk memberikan jawaban yang sederhana dan praktis terhadap permintaan akademis untuk pengajaran dan pembelajaran dasar-dasar Mekanika Fluida. Untuk itu, ia menawarkan sistem fleksibel dan modular untuk pembelajaran Mekanika Fluida Dasar.

Dengan serangkaian modul yang diusulkan, siswa melakukan eksperimen yang dengan jelas menunjukkan hukum-hukum hidraulika. Melalui eksperimen ini, siswa memperoleh pengalaman dalam penggunaan instrumen hidrolik dan alat-alat dengan cara yang alami, menyenangkan, dan tidak rumit.

Peralatan yang termasuk dalam laboratorium mekanika fluida memungkinkan karakterisasi fluida, pengukuran dan kontrol aliran fluida, studi tentang fenomena dan prinsip utama yang mengatur mekanika fluida, dan pemahaman tentang peralatan yang banyak digunakan dalam industri.
