The AC Three-Phase Reluctance Motors Application, "AEL-ACRL", has been designed is to study the storage of the working principle and the main industrial operations fulfilled with three-phase reluctance motors.The "AEL-ACRL" allows the user to learn and carry out different manual or automatic starting and operation methods for these type of electric machines. For that purpose, the application includes (in adittion to a three-phase reluctance motor) a series of contactors, push-buttons, timers, light indicators and different type of starters. A flywheel is also included, whose aditional objective is to study the storage of the motor mechanical energy.

It is recommended to acquire a series of analog and digital meters to be able to monitor the electrical and mechanical paremeters of the reluctance motor.
