ОБЩЕЕ ОПИСАНИЕ

The Computer Controlled Biomedical Patient Bi-signals Simulator, "BIPBSC", designed by EDIBON, allows students to learn how to interpret and measure the most important biosignals: electrocardiogram (ECG), pulse oximetry (SpO₂), blood pressure (BP), and capnography (etCO₂), Blood Pressure (BP) and Capnography (etCO₂). A Patient simulator mimics the above-mentioned biological signals (among others) by means of a software with different programmable scenarios of healthy and ill patients. Also, a real vital signs patient monitor can be connected to the mannequin for the real measurement of the simulated signals.

The "BIPBSC-UB" is the base unit of the "BIPBSC" application.

The "BIPBSC-UB" includes the following elements:

  • BIPBSC-UC. Control Unit for BIPBSC.
  • BIPBSC-PS. Patient Simulator for BIPBSC.

Required elements of the "BIPBSC-UB" unit (Not included):

  • BI-PM. Biosignals Patient Monitor.
  • AEL-PC. Touch Screen and Computer.

This Computer Controlled Unit is supplied with the EDIBON Computer Control System (SCADA), and includes: The unit itself + a Control Interface Box + a Data Acquisition Board + Computer Control, Data Acquisition and Data Management Software Packages, for controlling the process and all parameters involved in the process.
