6.- MEKATRONIK & OTOMASI

Mekatronika dan Otomasi adalah bidang teknik yang berfokus pada studi dan pengembangan permesinan untuk menerapkan otonom dan cerdas industri proses melalui komputer dan elektronik kontrol. Mesin ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kontrol dan produktivitas proses industri, selain untuk memfasilitasi pekerjaan bagi manusia. Kontrol gerak mesin dan aktuator, kontrol waktu nyata dari suatu proses, dan otomatisasi PLC meningkatkan ketangkasan dan efisiensi terkait untuk produksi mesin, dan mengurangi semua tindakan yang tidak menambah nilai pada produk akhir atau memperpanjang proses.

Kebutuhan industri untuk mengotomatiskan proses industri saat ini telah memungkinkan pengembangan elemen kontrol, seperti Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) , yang meningkatkan kecepatan dan efisiensi proses sederhana dan proses industri lengkap. Penggabungan robot perakitan di jalur perakitan telah meningkatkan volume pekerjaan dan penyesuaian pada produksi.
