7.2.- TEKNIK MEKANIK OTOMOTIF

Industri otomotif adalah salah satu aplikasi utama teknik mesin saat ini. Kendaraan dengan mesin pembakaran dalam bensin dianggap yang terbesar Penemuan dari abad ke-20, meskipun prototipe pertama sudah dibuat pada akhir abad ke-18. Prototipe pertama berasal dari tahun 1769. Itu adalah kereta uap. Itu tidak berhasil tetapi menjadi preseden untuk pengembangan mesin bensin pada tahun 1860.
