8.8.- SISTEM PIPA FLUIDA

Dalam teknik, sistem perpipaan fluida didefinisikan sebagai struktur atau konstruksi yang mengangkut fluida dari sumber ke < strong>tujuan. Dua jenis saluran dibedakan: saluran tertutup (pipa, terowongan atau gorong-gorong) dan saluran terbuka (arus alami). Aliran dalam saluran tertutup umumnya akan dipengaruhi oleh tekanan, berlawanan dengan apa yang terjadi pada saluran yang memiliki permukaan bebas.

Sistem perpipaan digunakan di banyak konstruksi yang bervariasi. Untuk tujuan itu, mereka harus beradaptasi dengannya dengan komponen. Komponen utama dalam jalur perpipaan adalah pipa dan alat kelengkapan (sambungan, siku, pereduksi, katup, dll. ). Selain itu, sesuai dengan spesifikasi desain atau persyaratan konstruksi, pipa dapat mengangkut fluida berkat sistem pemompaan, dengan gravitasi atau kedua mekanisme tersebut. Studi tentang bahan juga penting, karena kemungkinan adanya padatan kasar atau karakter abrasif dari fluida, di antara sifat-sifat lainnya.

Contoh terbaik dari sistem perpipaan adalah air minum jaringan distribusi dan suplai jaringan. Fasilitas konsumsi air manusia yang harus menjamin keselamatan dan kebersihan terdiri dari berbagai elemen seperti tangki, pipa, aksesoris, dll. Contoh lainnya adalah pipa untuk drainase air limbah dan air hujan, untuk sistem irigasi dengan air daur ulang atau untuk pengelolaan air hujan dalam gedung.
