The PID Temperature Control and Regulation Unit, "RYC-TE", designed by EDI­BON, enables the practical study of automatic control systems through the regulation of water temperature in a tank.

This unit allows students and technicians to understand and apply PID control theory in a real environment. It consists of a base with sensors and actuators, such as a temperature sensor, a flowmeter, a water pump, and a heating ele­ment, as well as an interface box that integrates the power supply, signal condi­tioning, and the necessary connections to the control system.

The unit also allows manual disturbances by adjusting the power of the heating element.

It is used in conjunction with the base unit "RYC" to control the temperature of the tank water by regulating the flow rate of the water circuit.
