ОБЩЕЕ ОПИСАНИЕ

The Flowmeter Calibrator, "FME37", designed by EDIBON, allows for the assessment of the accuracy and performance of the most commonly used flow meters. It features a panel of four-tube pressure gauges displaying pressure differences at various points, and connected to a pump, adjustments can be easily made for precise observation and comparison.

Additionally, the central part of the unit enables students to understand and compare the pressure losses that may occur. Additionally, accessories designed by EDIBON can be added, such as:

  • Pitot Tube for FME37, "FME37-A", which allows displaying the velocity profile in pipelines, facilitating understanding of surface friction and boundary layer.
  • Venturi Tube for FME37, "FME37-B", which enables students to measure the flow velocity of a fluid in a pipeline by gradually reducing its diameter, followed by a gradual expansion.
  • Orifice Plate for FME37, "FME37-C", which allows measuring or controlling the flow of a fluid in a pipeline. This accessory provides a deeper understanding of fundamental concepts in fluid engineering, such as the relationship between pressure and flow velocity, the application of Bernoulli’s equation, the effects of viscosity and turbulence on flow, as well as the principles of energy and mass conservation.
