The PID Position Control and Regulation of a Motor Unit, "RYC-CP", designed by EDIBON, enables the practical study of automatic control systems through the regulation of the linear position of a moving cart driven by a DC motor.

This unit allows students and technicians to understand and apply PID control theory in a real-world environment. It consists of a base with sensors and ac­tuators, such as a DC motor, a potentiometer, and a moving cart, as well as an interface box that integrates the power supply, signal conditioning, and the necessary connections to the control system.

It is used in conjunction with the base unit "RYC" to control the position of the cart along a bar, simulating real-world linear positioning applications.
