The PID Magnetic Levitation Control and Regulation Unit, "RYC-CLM", desig­ned by EDIBON, enables the practical study of automatic control systems throu­gh the regulation of the vertical position of a magnetically levitated metal ball.

This unit allows students and technicians to understand and apply PID control theory in a real-world environment. It consists of a base with sensors and actua­tors, such as an electromagnet, a current sensor, and a position sensor, along with an interface box that integrates the power supply, signal conditioning, and the necessary connections to the control system.

It is used in conjunction with the base unit "RYC" to control the vertical position of the metal ball by adjusting the current supplied to the electromagnet.
