일반적인 설명

Water is impelled by a pump from a supply tank towards a first transparent tank equipped with a stirrer and a conductivity sensor.

Conductivity is regulated in this tank by the addition of diluted caustic soda impelled by a computer controlled peristaltic pump.

Afterwards, water flows by gravity towards a second transparent tank equipped with a pH sensor and a dissolved oxygen sensor. Due to the caustic soda added to the first tank, the pH increases considerably. Diluted sulfuric acid is added with a computer controlled peristaltic pump to neutralize water to a suitable pH. A computer controlled compressor will inject compressed air in this second tank to regulate dissolved oxygen.

Finally, water flows towards a collection tank, where the redox potential and the pH are measured through sensors. Other computer controlled peristaltic pump allows the addition of an iodine solution to regulate the redox potential.

P, PD, PI and PID controls for the different stages.
