The Extended Surface Heat Transfer Module for TSTCB,"TXC/SEB", bench-top unit has been designed to demonstrate the temperature profiles and heat transfer characteristics for an extended surface. It studies the effect of adding fins to a body in order to extend its surface for a change in the cooling rate. Fins of different materials and cross section shapes are used to analyse the effect of cooling.

The Extended Surface Heat Transfer Module for TSTCB, "TXC/SEB", has been designed to demonstrate the temperature profiles and heat transfer characteristics of an extended surface. It studies the effects of adding fins to a surface-extended body to achieve a change in cooling rate.

Fins of different materials and cross-sectional shapes are used to analyze cooling effects.

Anodized aluminum frame and panels made of painted steel panels.

Diagram on the front panel with similar distribution to the elements in the real one.
