5.1.- 스마트 그리드 및 전력 시스템

지능형 전기 그리드 또는 스마트 그리드는 전력 시스템의 진화의 결과입니다. 이는 지속 가능하고 안정적이며 경제적으로 전기 에너지에 대한 수요를 관리하는 진화 된 네트워크입니다. 스마트 그리드에서 새로운 구성 요소의 통합을 용이하게하도록 조정 된 고급 인프라가 특징입니다.

전력 시스템에 재생 가능 에너지가 포함됨에 따라 발전의 분산 된 특성이 점점 더 분명 해지고 있습니다. 이러한 이유로 Kirchhoff의 법칙에 따르면 전류가 더 낮은 임피던스 전력선을 통해 더 많이 순환하는 경향이 있기 때문에 전력 흐름의 분배가 큰 도전이되었습니다. 이로 인해 전기 네트워크에 큰 불균형이 발생하고 성능이 저하됩니다. 전력 전자 장치의 엄청난 발전으로 Kirchhoff의 법칙에 성공적으로 도전하여 가장 복잡한 에너지 네트워크에서 전력 흐름을 제어 할 수있게되었습니다.

전력 흐름 제어를 위해 오늘날 스마트 전기 그리드에 통합 된 최첨단 기술 개발에는 위상 변이 변압기 (PST), 유연한 AC 전송 시스템 (FACTS), 동기식 정적 보상기 등이 있습니다. (STATCOM), 사이리스터 제어 직렬 커패시터 (TCSC) 및 정적 주파수 변환기 (SFC) 이러한 기술은 네트워크의 전력 흐름과 전력 계수를 제어하기 위해 특정 전기 변전소에 설치됩니다. 전체 전기 시스템의 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있습니다.

스마트 그리드를 탄생시킨이 기술 진화 덕분에 풍력 에너지와 태양 광 에너지와 같은 재생 가능 에너지를 그리드에 통합 할 수있을뿐만 아니라 오늘날 사회에 전기 자동차를 포함시킬 수있게되었습니다. 그 결과 온실 가스 (CO2)를 대폭 줄일 수있었습니다.
